| EasyLog is
one of the most powerful logging programs in the world.
Born in 1989, EasyLog is continously upgraded to be
always one step forward to the competitors and to
full-fill the requirements of the hams world-wide. EasyLog runs on all 32 bit versions of Windows operating system: Win Xp, Win 2000, Win ME, Win NT 4.0, Win NT 3.51, Win 98 and Win 95. EasyLog is written in the C++ language, which is a powerful development system that allows us to create very compact and fast programs. We always suggest that you try other logging programs before buying EasyLog, so that you can experience the superior design and the integrated environment of EasyLog. EasyLog has been designed for use by novice, as well as users. If you are looking for a powerful software for your ham station, you are in the right place. To evaluate EasyLog, we invite you to download the lite version. It has all features of the full commercial version, with the only limitation being that you can log a maximum of about 5,000 QSO for each log. The commercial version of EasyLog has: * No limit on the number of Logs you can create * No limit on the number of QSO you can put in a Log EasyLog Integrated Environment The user-interface of EasyLog is designed to offer everything at the right place in the main window. You don't have to switch between different applications or tens of different windows because everything is well-integrated and available with just a keystroke or a mouse click. The main window contains several panels that show the most important information of the QSOs, integrating a DX Cluster section, a view to the active Log, and a number of information panels to show all the details about the active (highlighted) QSO: * On the Award panel you can see the DXCC country, CQ zone for WAC award, ITU zone, WPX and WAC award information * The QRB panel shows the distance in Km between you and the other QTH (QRB) and also the antenna beaming information (Azimuth) for both short and the long path. * In the Time panel you can find local, the UTC and the DX local time. * The Connection panel allows you to select connecting the Cluster window to a TNC radio packet (via RS232) or to a TCP/IP internet based DX cluster. It also shows the connection status and the data flow of the communication port. * The Cluster window is a specialized area for the DX Cluster. It can be connected to a radio DX Cluster or to a TCP/IP internet DX Cluster. The incoming DX- spots are automatically shown in different colors depending on your own award situation (i.e. a new-one country DX spot is colored red). This way, you will know immediately if a DX-spot is needed for your award situation and you can decide wether or not to work the station. A speed-bar just above the Cluster window contains the most important options and commands. * The Log window in the center of the screen shows the active Log database. You can freely select the fields and their order. Awards tracking system EasyLog has one of the best awards tracking system that you can find on the market. When you log a QSO, EasyLog automatically and in real time extracts the right Country, Zone, Continent, and Prefix for the awards. The awards are updated automatically, without any manual intervention. EasyLog uses a very advanced, accurate and super fast algorithm that extracts award information using the callsign and QSO date. The awards tracking system keeps your awards always up to date so you can concentrate only on the exciting part of your hobby: the radio activity. QSL handling EasyLog has a very advanced QSL handling system. Just copy the QSOs you want to print in the QSL buffer manually or using a powerful user defined criteria. The QSOs that satisfy the defined criteria will be automatically copied from the active Log to the QSL buffer. Then print your labels simply choosing a label format, or create/customize your own, using a very powerful and easy-to-use script-based language using fonts and colors! Packet Cluster support The last release of EasyLog includes DX Cluster support on packet radio using external TNC-2 compatible modems and Internet based Cluster. Once connected to a DX Cluster node, you will receive the incoming DX-Spots that can be filtered with user-defined criteria and are shown in the cluster window using different colors based on the award status. A pop up dialog box shows you the award status of the DX-Spot, announcing it by human voice. If your transceiver is connected to your computer by the RS232 interface-adaptor, you can immediately jump to the right frequency and work the DX-station before a big pile-up will make this impossible. Be always a step in the future, stay in touch with us and Enjoy EasyLog! The EasyLog staff. |
