EasyLog - Fundamental elements
EasyLog is the best amateur-radio log software existing today. It's first version was released in 1989 and since then we have remained committed to continuously supporting and improving it.
Over the years, EasyLog has undergone continuous evolution, transitioning from a simple MS-DOS program to a sophisticated, fully integrated software solution compatible with Windows 10 and all previous versions of Windows.
EasyLog is a comprehensive logging software that automatically updates DXCC, WAZ, WPX, and WAC awards with every QSO, minimizing the need for manual intervention while handling a vast number of diplomas.
Notably, EasyLog was the first logging program to interface with Packet Cluster. The DX-Cluster network can be effortlessly connected either through a TNC (such as the iconic PK232) or via TCP/IP (over the Internet).
Whenever a new DX-Spot appears
- EasyLog instantly analyzes its status, providing clear indicators like "Absolute NewOne," "Worked but not confirmed," "Band NewOne," or "Mode NewOne."
The software’s advanced interfacing capabilities allow it
- to filter out already confirmed countries
- vocalize incoming DX-Spot callsigns
- display Spot-DXs through a variety of elegant graphical interfaces.
EasyLog also offers seamless control of up to five radios, either directly or through OmniRig. With a single mouse click, users can instantly tune the connected radio to the frequency of the latest Spot-DX that appears on the DX-Cluster.
Moreover, EasyLog fully supports ARRL's Logbook of The World (LoTW). By configuring EasyLog with TQSL (ARRL’s software), users can send all QSOs in real-time and download confirmed QSOs either automatically or manually. QSOs downloaded from the LoTW site can be marked as "confirmed" or "confirmed and credited."
Paper QSL cards can also be managed effortlessly with EasyLog. With the touch of a button, you can update the relevant QSO for any received paper QSL card.
In addition, EasyLog’s integrated QSL Wizard software allows for the printing of both labels and paper QSL cards, streamlining the process of confirming and managing QSOs.
