| New Release 2024.1.0.8 available for download |
| | Latest News | | We have released a couple of maintenance releases to resolve an unforeseen issue that arose from ongoing work on the new fully automated support for eQSL (which will be deployed with the upcoming 2024.1.0.9). The new release 2024.1.0.8 fixes the problem with the menus, which are therefore back to normal. You will be able to see the new eQSL menu currently disabled. | | The Italian authorities on august 30th have temporarily authorized until December 31, 2024, the use of the 4m and 8m bands, and the extension of the 160m band. The 4m band was already included in EasyLog Bandplan settings for region 1, while 8m band was not. In the next Newsletter as well on the EasyLog Facebook groups we will provide informations how to add the new band and how to change bands limits. | The next release will however include the new Bandplan settings | | Beyond the e-book, we’re continuing to work on improving EasyLog’s overall functionality. Our goal is to provide you with the most efficient and user-friendly experience possible, whether you’re operating in digital modes or traditional bands. We’re also staying on top of the latest developments in the world of amateur radio, ensuring that EasyLog evolves with the technology, keeping you at the forefront of innovation. |

| Tips & Tricks | This week we continue with the presentation of the DX-Cluster's three ways of displaying DX-spots. | - DX List
- Panel Cluster
- DX-Hunter
| This week we are presenting the third way to display the DX-spots this mode can coexist with DX-List or Panel Cluster. | | To open the DX Hunter view mode, just click on the DX Hunter button on the right of the DX-Cluster area. On the left of the EasyLog main windows it appears the DX Hunter window. | | |
|
| | The spots are painted in the exact frequency of the scale and are colored with the DXCC award status color. By clicking a DX Spot, you will set frequency and mode of the TRX. | Click on the color icon to know the color codes used by EasyLog | | The DX Hunter shows the spot on a vertical frequency scale and divides the spot per band. So click on the band you want, to see only the DX stations spotted in that band. | | You can change the font size (3.) and zoom slider (2.) to accomodate a better vision of he scale and to use the splitter (1.) to adjust the width of the DX-Hunter window. Also, clicking on a frequency on the scale sets the frequency on the RTX. |

| A WORD FROM OUR EDITOR I am delighted to share that I have just received authors, the first complete draft of our next ebook. It's an exciting time for all of us, and I couldn't wait to dive into it. As I read this book, I was struck by the wealth of knowledge and ideas it contains. The authors put all their heart to work on this project. I asked them what they think of their new book and what they are proud of. They replied: "In this ebook, we aim to present information on a topic, whose basic concepts we recognize as can be rather complex. We deliberately chose to use simple language to make the content accessible to all, while ensuring that technical information remains accurate and reliable. ” By seeing what they have written and hearing them tell me about it, I am convinced that this ebook will be a valuable resource for any amateur radio, whether you are a beginner or looking to deepen your experience. I can't wait to hear how this will help each of you improve your experiences with digital modes. Stay with us for more updates and thank you for being part of this journey with us! Best regards, |
