Power is nothing without control | | | | by IW1DGL, Franco EasyLog co-author |
| In martial arts, there’s a well-known saying inspired by a famous advertisement: power is meaningless without control. As a dedicated martial arts practitioner and enthusiast, I’ve heard it countless times, including from my late master. | | A phrase perfectly suited to the amateur radio world: A high-end amateur radio station, built through substantial investments over time, featuring top-notch radios, premium equipment, and highly effective antennas, is meaningless without control. |
|
| Control involves not only mastering the equipment but also embracing your experience, willingness to learn new techniques, and openness to technological advancements and innovative methods. | A skilled operator can deliver highly valuable results even from a simple station | The station software plays a crucial role in your setup. Those who have been using EasyLog for over 30 years or have discovered it recently can attest to its importance. | A professional and well-designed station software that adapts to your needs is crucial as it embodies the control and power steering you towards excellence. | This enables you to enjoy this wonderful hobby while having fun and enhancing your activities, whether competitive like contests and awards, or recreational, such as connecting with friends worldwide and nurturing a timeless passion: amateur radio communications. |
