Instructions for Sending Commands to the DX-Cluster

EasyLog enables you to send commands to the DX-Cluster using the 10 programmable keys (1.) (previously detailed in a past Newsletter) or the predefined Talk and DX keys (2.) to dispatch a DX-Spot. Alternatively, if you need to enter a specific command without saving it to the keys, you can utilize the command line (3.), located beneath the DX-Cluster area in monitor mode, by clicking the TCP Cluster 1 button in the top-right corner.

To issue a command to the DX-Cluster, such as sh/fdx 100, click within the black line to place the cursor, enter the command, and press enter or click the [>>] button on the right. The command line includes a dropdown list that saves previously sent commands, making them easy to retrieve when required.

Automatic connection to the DX-Cluster

In the DX-Cluster's monitor mode (accessible by clicking the TCP Cluster 1 button at the top right), open the configuration menu as illustrated above. Navigate to the Auto-Login tab, then enable Login (1.) and Auto connect (2.).

In the monitor mode of the DX-Cluster (accessible by clicking the TCP Cluster 1 button at the top right), select the configuration button as displayed in the figure above. Navigate to the Auto-Login tab, then enable Login (1.) and Auto connect (2.).

Enter the Login request text displayed by the DX-Cluster during connection (usually login: (3.). In the Call field, input your callsign for connecting to the DX-Cluster (4.). The next time EasyLog starts, it will automatically connect to the chosen DX-Cluster and perform the login.
