A message from the founders

📡 Dear friends,

Lately, we have been very busy behind the scenes. We encountered some setbacks with the release of the eBook dedicated to DXCC, which forced us to review and refine part of the work. We are proceeding carefully to offer you useful, clear content that meets your expectations.

In the meantime, we wish you a wonderful spring, full of serenity, enthusiasm… and many DX!

Warm regards from the entire team, and our best wishes for a Happy Easter!

Franco & Piero

73 and Good DX!

With the arrival of spring, the air becomes lighter, and the days grow longer. We radio amateurs also feel the call of nature: every QSO seems to resonate with new energy, and the desire to plan outdoor activations, participate in contests, or simply perform antenna maintenance returns. It is the perfect time to renew our passion and connect, once again, with the world.

Awards Statistics

To quickly obtain the statistics of a country DXCC, use the specific window in the award panel, at the top left:

Enter a callsign to see the detailed statistics of that country with the confirmation status (paper QSL or LoTW showing any credits already obtained).

Similarly, by clicking the WAZ button you get the statistics of a specific zone, and so on for the other awards, including custom awards.

Readers' Testimonials

"This evening I read the guide on FT8 and FT4 that I purchased for 10 euros. Although I have been using this technology for a long time, I must say that the manual is really well done and absolutely essential for beginners: clear, comprehensive, and capable of explaining all the fundamental aspects.

Even for those, like me, who already have experience, it still offers some interesting technical insights, with small useful tips to verify and explore further. Overall, I believe the 10 euros were well spent. The only suggestion I feel like giving would be to expand the section related to spectrum configuration and perhaps integrate information on emerging new software, especially those used in expeditions.

A guide I truly recommend to anyone interested in these digital modes!

ZS8W DXpedition

by HK3W, Siso Hennessey

After several repeated failed attempts since 2018 to obtain the necessary permits to visit Marion Island and operate from there, Yuris/YL2GM has finally succeeded! Currently aboard the ship mv S.A. Agulhas II, departure from Cape Town, South Africa, for Marion Island was scheduled for April 17.

Yuris will operate from Marion Island as ZS8W between April 21 and May 16, 2025. The Prince Edward and Marion Islands are listed as number 11 on Clublog's DXCC Most Wanted list for April 2025.

Yuris will be on Marion Island as a radio engineer and member of the communication equipment maintenance team of the SANAP station and will remain there for the aforementioned period, during which the annual replenishment of supplies and personnel exchange for SANAP station overwintering will take place.

The NCDXF is the general supporter of this event.

By the way, you can follow job offers on the SANAP website and join the overwintering team next year. Previous DX requests by Yuris/YL2GM.
