Today, as we celebrate 45 newsletters, it’s all thanks to you. Your messages, stories, and enthusiasm to connect and share inspire us. Every bond formed and every new voice heard is a small miracle, reminding us why we continue.

We are not perfect, nor do we strive to be. Our goal is to stay genuine, approachable, and curious.

New Release in Progress

We're putting the finishing touches on a new release set to launch in about 1-2 weeks, featuring various graphic updates and code enhancements.

The process will progress through multiple releases, aiming to enhance ergonomics with various innovations.

We have also been working for some time on an important innovation 'under the hood,' many parts of which are already part of EasyLog but not yet enabled. We can't wait to reveal more to you!

We have streamlined the management of LoTW subscribers, which we use to indicate if a station is active as LoTW in the DX-Cluster and FT8 Running. Consequently, the manual updates of the LoTW1.txt file (update button in DX-Cluster) have been eliminated. Similar to FT8-Running, the list is now automatically fetched from the ARRL website. The system functions offline, and the subscriber list updates automatically once you go online.

How to change the language of EasyLog

EasyLog is available in 8 languages. You can choose the language during installation or later by going to the Tools menu (1.), clicking the Setup button (2.) under Regional Settings (3.), then selecting the desired language with the Select button (4.). Finally, click the Ok button (5.) to apply the new language. Close and restart EasyLog to activate the selected language.

Select the BandPlan of your ITU Region

The bands assigned to radio amateurs vary slightly based on your ITU region. Therefore, it is essential to configure your ITU region in EasyLog to ensure the band plan is accurate.

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) divides the world into three regions:

Region 1
Region 2
Region 3

Region 1 includes Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Russia.

Region 2 includes the Americas.

Region 3 covers the majority of Asia, the Pacific, Australia, and Oceania.
