Message from the Founders

📡 Dear Readers,

We take immense pride in hearing from users who have happily used an older version for years and now want to upgrade to the latest one. We're also delighted to assist users with old broken computers in recovering their Logs and continuing without losing a single QSO. Your trust and satisfaction stand as our best business card. Our motto, "only satisfied users," stems from our commitment to product development, maintenance, and evolution, ensuring no one is left behind no matter their location, time, or day of the year, even on holidays.

We are grateful for your daily expressions of affection!

Best regards,

Pietro and Franco

Important points regarding flag assignment

The latest version 2025.1.2.0 has added country flags to the DX-Cluster, Log, and awards section (DXCC).

New release

Regarding the flags, we are analyzing sources and materials to adequately establish an appropriate strategy for the assignment of flags to specific countries that do not have their own political autonomy. In the next release, many missing flags will be added and some may undergo reassignment. Thank you to everyone who wrote to us to contribute.

How to determine if support is ending?

It's quite straightforward, just access the Reserved Area or open the EasyLog Reserved Area menu to find the expiration date and renewal links.

Tips & Tricks

EasyLog and the essential file

The EasyLog license key file is found in \EL5\log5.dll

When you launch EasyLog after installing a new release, the key file is downloaded automatically. If you encounter an Error 300 or 200 message on startup and can access the Reserved Area, deleting this file and restarting EasyLog will resolve the issue, with a new key file being automatically downloaded from our site. Enter the login credentials for the Reserved Area in the configuration window accessed through the gear icon in the menu.

The Log Folder

Occasionally, support may ask you to send or delete a file from your Log folder.

How to access your Log folder? Using Windows FileManager (or another FileManager), navigate to the root of the disk where EasyLog is installed. Suppose it was installed on disk C:

Find and access the EL5 folder, then the LOG folder, and lastly the folder named after your log, for example, IW1DGL.LOG

 Windows Explorer

Aprendo la cartella del vostro log troverete tutti i files che lo compongono, come file dati, indici, file di configurazione.
