A new Reserved Area will soon be accessible, seamlessly integrated with our website and your account to enhance and simplify the user experience.

Nuove bandierine per i country

We are updating the missing flags (country deleted) and swapping some current ones for more accurate versions. Many less common countries have experienced political upheaval resulting in contested or annexed territories. For some rare deleted countries, it's particularly challenging to identify the flag used prior to deletion.

It's part of EasyLog's nature to handle tasks correctly and accurately, even when dealing with what some may see as minor details. We're reviewing information and cross-checking sources to determine every administrative step and apply the appropriate flags.

A challenging and intricate calculation. Starting with the next release, we can introduce several new country deleted flags and update others.

Update Check and Manager

The CHECK country recognition engine update, which will be sent directly to EasyLog, along with the updated Manager archive, is now available in the Reserved Area.

Tips & Tricks

Rebuilding the indices

Occasionally, it might be necessary to rebuild the Log indexes to ensure QSOs are displayed correctly. The indexes, partly stored in memory, can be affected by RF returns at the station (or may be 'corrupted' for various reasons), whereas the data files, such as Log and diplomas, remain unaffected. In such scenarios, rebuilding the indexes will restore normal functionality. Sometimes, the EasyLog Team might recommend rebuilding the indexes after you report a display issue or screen error. 

To rebuild the indexes, go to the Utilities module found in the Modules menu. To start, choose the Modules menu (1.) and then select the Utilities icon (2.)

The Utilities module window will open.

Now, exit EasyLog, (keeping only the Utilities module open) and press the index deletion button)

Select the Log for which you want to rebuild the indexes, and confirm the deletion:

Now, exit the Utilities module and relaunch EasyLog. The indexes will rebuild automatically, solving the issue.
