A note from the founders

Dear friends of EasyLog,

Every issue of this newsletter serves as more than just a technical update; it's a link between individuals with shared passions. For over 35 years, EasyLog has grown alongside you, turning real demands into practical solutions.

In this 64th edition, we highlight what truly matters to us:

the trust you show each time you choose EasyLog,

the eagerness to improve through your feedback and critiques,

the assurance that our community consists of talented and inquisitive professionals, who think ahead.

EasyLog is more than software: it is a shared journey that started in 1989 and continues with the same excitement. Each version encapsulates the expertise of its developers and the enthusiasm of its users, in various settings or from home.

Thank you for being part of this story: you are the force that drives our innovation.

With appreciation,

Good DX!

IK1TZO Pietro and IW1DGL Franco

After adjusting the Log fields, we plan to conduct additional testing with our beta testers, which means the release of the new version will be delayed by another week. We have just finished several foundational works in preparation for significant upcoming enhancements, including the new DXCC diplomas section. We will also add the missing flags of deleted countries, thanks to the detailed work by Max, IW3ILM. The next update will cover all details of the changes and improvements.

Stay tuned!!

To utilize the integrated courtesy QSL module in EasyLog, found in the QSL section (QSL button at the bottom of the main EasyLog screen), please enter your email and password in the configuration window.

EasyLog is compatible with @gmail and @yahoo accounts.

Attention! This is not the same password for accessing your email on the web; it is a specific password that must be created by following the different instructions for gmail or yahoo accounts

Account @gmail.com

The detailed procedure for setting up the password (AppPassword) to be used by EasyLog can be found in Newsletter No.2 in the 3-Tip&Tricks section. The step-by-step procedure is shown with plenty of images and explanations.

Read Newsletter No.2

Account @yahoo

To set up a Yahoo account, after selecting some QSOs in the QSL buffer window, and clicking the Courtesy QSL button to open the form, click the Configure button to provide a username and password @yahoo.

Keep in mind that the password for @gmail accounts doesn't apply to yahoo.com webmail. You must create an App password for EasyLog. Click the blue button in the settings window for a step-by-step tutorial on creating an App password.
