A Message from the Founders

Dear readers,

We are pleased to announce the new release 2026.1.4.0.

This new version fits into a broader vision where EasyLog continues to evolve and enrich itself with new tools and services designed to offer a more complete experience to amateur radio operators.

The new EasyLog Cloud Dashboard represents the first building block of a continuously growing EasyLog ecosystem, designed to make the information about your radio activity more accessible, useful, and engaging.

We are working on many other innovations that will bring greater integration between EasyLog services and new sharing and participation opportunities for the entire community.

Some projects are already in advanced stages of development, and we look forward to presenting them to you in the coming months.

The journey has just begun.

73, and good DX!

From Our Community

We receive from Giorgio a beautiful memory of Gabriele, IK3GES, whom the entire team fondly remembers as an early EasyLog user with whom we often communicated and whose human qualities and gentlemanly nature we have always appreciated.

IK3GES – The man who taught me Radio

Giorgio, IZ3KVD – Ham Project

Gabriele Gentile IK3GES was one of those radio amateurs you don't forget. A complete OM, an indefatigable traveler, a builder of antennas and people. The HF bands were his sea, the camper his home, the European islands his natural horizon. Every time he set off, we knew that sooner or later his voice would come from some Greek cliff, a northern port, or a parking lot overlooking the sea. And every time it was like finding him again.

I was fortunate to know him even before becoming a radio amateur, as a neighbor. For me, he was a guide, a shoulder, a constant point. One of those who open a path without even realizing it. He taught me to look at radio with respect, method, and passion. And he did it in his way: direct, straightforward, sometimes rough, but always sincere and always present. His manual skills were unique: baluns built from scratch, wires optimized to the millimeter, modified and tested directives until they performed at their best.

It wasn't theory, it was craft. And when something didn't work, he would arrive, look, understand, and fix it. Always. In the ARI Treviso section, he was a natural tutor, especially for the newly licensed: one who didn't give compliments but imparted true competence. Life, however, was hostile to him. Too much. It took him away too soon from his family, his daily life, and our world. A world where we awaited his calls from the islands, his sudden signals, his presence that seemed never-ending.

Today we remember him as such: as a true man, an authentic OM, one who left a deep mark without intending to. His antennas, his travels, his voice on HF, his advice and even his sharp character continue to live on in those who knew him and in the stations he helped to improve.
Goodbye Gabriele, IK3GES. You built much more than what was visible. And everything you left continues to transmit.
