Tips & Tricks

The new release 2026.1.0.0

The new release 2026.1.0.0 enhances the color customization window of the Log area, extending it to all colors and introducing the ability to disable color combinations you are not interested in.

The operation is very simple click on the new button on the right side of the log selector (1) as shown below.

The new color selection window will appear from which you can customize the color to be changed.

To the left of each color combination, a checkbox (1.) allows you to disable the color if you are not interested in that specific condition.

In just a few minutes, a real miracle 

Good morning… or rather, for me, very good afternoon.

Franco, you are a wizard and I absolutely had to tell you — and let others know.

I had skipped renewing several releases and I really felt their absence.
I renewed, added the Cloud backup, and discovered so many new features.

Then I got into trouble with the 7300 setup.
I simply couldn’t get it to work: it connected with Hamlib (an excellent feature), but I couldn’t see the frequency in the six radio windows.
I tried again and again, without success.

In the end, I asked Franco for help via Messenger.
He gave me all the instructions, which I followed carefully… but I still managed to make a mess of things.

And then, the unexpected happened.

Franco offered me a remote connection — I truly didn’t expect it — and it actually happened.
He also suggested the program to use, but even then I struggled with the setup.

In the end, he fixed everything.
I could see his mouse moving on my screen, opening, adjusting, correcting.

And then…
I finally saw the frequency.
The radio connected.
The bands changing.

For me: a real miracle.

In just a few minutes, he solved a problem that had been bothering me for almost two months, every single day.

I’m writing this to thank Franco for the genuine support that he and his team provide with EasyLog.
