The new release
The QSL Courtesy now supports @yahoo accounts
The new release includes an update to QSL Courtesy module, that is now also compatible with @yahoo email accounts.
To do so, after selecting the QSO in the QSL buffer window, click the QSL Courtesy button to automatically extract the correspondent's emails and wait for the QSL Courtesy module to open.
Click Setup and provide your @yahoo username and password like <your-email@yahoo.com>.
Please note, similar to @gmail accounts, the password is not the one you use for yahoo.com webmail. You need to generate an App Password for EasyLog. Click the blue button for a step-by-step guide on generating the App password.

Tips & Tricks
by IK8OZV, Vincenzo

Some users asked on the EasyLog FB customer service groups how to upload the entire LOG to qrz.com. Curious, I decided to explore it myself.
I closed EasyLog, opened the Adif Converter, and exported the entire Log to ADI.
I then visited qrz.com, logged in, clicked my name at the top right, and selected "My Logbook" from the drop-down menu:
Since I had never uploaded a QSO, my log was empty:
By clicking on the icon on the top right corner the ADIF import window opens
I clicked on Choose File and picked the previously created ADI file.
The name of the ADI file had the same name as the LOG in Easylog, in my case Enzo.adi. I put the tick in the Send me a report by e-mail after the file was processed checkbox.
After a while I received the email report which contained:
QRZ has completed the import processing of your logbook file.
Book: "IK8OZV Logbook" (327650)
Import Results:
0 QSOs were inserted
0 duplicates were replaced
0 duplicates ignored
18062 errors.
0 queued for confirmation checking
Surprisingly, none of the QSO was imported generating as many errors as the number of the QSO. The errors looked like:
Error on record: I1BIT de ENZO on 1990-06-07 21:16:00. could not be imported into the specified book (). This can happen because the callsign doesnt match or the QSOs date/time is outside of the logbooks date range.
I started to question myself if what I did was wrong and why in the error report it said 'de ENZO' and not 'de IK8OZV', my callsign?
At this point I edited the ADI fileremoved all the records except one and tried again, with the same result.
Finally, I got it. The QSO records where exported in the ADIF file with the name of the log in the ADIF tag OPERATOR while QRZ.com expected the callsign in that field and the content of OPERATOR must match the name of the Log of your account.
Then I decided to take a look on EasyLog. From the Tools menu, clicking on the Setup button, then on Log Settings
The following dialog box appeared:
So I realized that the Call field associated to my Log was my first name while it should be my callsign. EasyLog uses this field to export as OPERATOR tag in the ADIF file, and QRZ specifically checks if the content of that tag matches with the Log name.
I changed to my callsing IK8OXV and I re-exported my full Log using EasyLog ADIF Converter. Finally I uploaded again in QRZ.com
This time the email report was positive and almost all QSO were imported except a few douplicates
17591 QSOs were inserted in QRZ.com log as you can see in the image below
Thank you guys, have fun and see you next time.
